I am from Rye and was raised there and at Camber Sands in the 1950's and 1960's. I have just written a booklet with several colour maps and photographs about Old Winchelsea, New Winchelsea, the changing coastline and the massacre of the Jews at Jury's Gap in 1290 AD.
